Job Summary
The Funeral Assistant position is responsible for ensuring client families receive necessary information and assistance during their time of need. Duties include assisting in the movement of casketed deceased, maintaining cleanliness of public spaces, and providing support to client families, especially the handicapped and elderly. Essential skills include communication proficiency, teamwork orientation, customer service orientation, and time management. A four-year degree and a minimum of one-year experience in client relations are preferred, along with a valid driver's license and fluency in English.
Required Qualifications
- Four-year degree or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
- Minimum of 1-year experience in client relations or related field
- Valid state issued driver’s license in good standing and acceptable driving record
- Ability to read, write and speak English fluently
Desired Qualifications
- Ability to empathize with client families and their guests
- Demonstrated willingness to participate in growing market share through community involvement
- Bilingual is a plus
