Job Summary
Coordinate all phases of funeral arrangements, including the removal of the deceased and setting up memorial services. Prepare memorial areas for families before services begin and provide guidance and direction throughout the loss process. Maintain reverence and respect for the deceased at all times while ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local funeral industry regulations. Assist families before, during, and after the loss of a loved one. This role supports NorthStar Memorial Group's mission to serve the community at Hawaiian Memorial Park in Oahu.
Required Qualifications
- Professional communication skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to handle sensitive situations in a professional manner
- Proficient computer skills, including ability to effectively use applications and web-based platforms to complete daily tasks
Desired Qualifications
- 1+ year of funeral industry experience preferred, but not required. We will train the right person.
