Funeral Arranger - 6 Month Fixed Term Contract

Funeral Arranger for a 6-month fixed-term contract based in Bury, Lancashire. You’ll build relationships with clients and the community, arrange family visits, answer client questions, and manage client documentation and invoicing using IT systems. You’ll support with manual handling of coffins and assist in the care and preparation of the deceased (including viewing preparations), while maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming funeral home environment. You’ll refer regulated work to Funeral Plan Arrangers and ensure compliance with regulatory policies and processes. The role involves direct contact with the deceased as part of normal duties, and may include tasks like selling funeral plans. Strong communication, numeracy, attention to detail, empathy, discretion, and the ability to learn new applications and systems are required.
