Job Summary
Fundraising Officer in Vancouver to increase brand awareness, cultivate donor relations, and drive fundraising initiatives for a humanitarian non-profit. Key duties include outreach and relationship management with donors, design and execution of fundraising campaigns (direct mail, online giving, peer-to-peer, major gifts), planning and management of community events, volunteer recruitment and coordination, youth engagement in fundraising activities, and developing grant proposals. Strong interpersonal skills, event planning experience, and commitment to organizational mission are required; fluency in English with French or another language a plus. Some travel and evening/weekend work may be required.
Required Qualifications
- Post Secondary qualification in events planning, fundraising, project management, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience is acceptable.
