Funding Specialist II - South Region

Coordinate the complete funding transaction cycle from Ready to Process to Final Funding Approval, ensuring all operational procedures meet company policy and time frames. Obtain missing demographics, verify client benefits, and gather required documentation including prescriptions, Letters of Medical Necessity, and RTS evaluations. Communicate regularly with physicians, therapists, and clients to secure payer authorizations, denials, and deferrals while managing the Funding Work Queue. Conduct pre-purchase and pre-delivery quality assurance to verify all approvals before equipment purchase or delivery. Investigate payer requirements in the UPD and handle work order credit exceptions with minimal supervision. Complete assigned continuing education courses and maintain regular attendance.
