Job Summary
Entry-level Funding Officer to support the Funding and Investor Relations team for the European Stability Mechanism (ESM) in Luxembourg. Responsibilities include monitoring market developments and investor demand, contributing to the development and implementation of funding strategy and instruments, ensuring execution of primary market activities (auction, syndication, or private placement), organizing/analyzing information to inform management, updating management and other divisions on market developments, and monitoring primary market activities of other issuers. Requires a university degree in a relevant area and 1–3 years of capital markets experience; strong Excel skills; familiarity with Bloomberg and front office systems; excellent English. The role offers a possibility to work remotely up to two days a week from Luxembourg and the border region, with the employment grade of Officer and a four-year contract with potential extension.
Required Qualifications
- University degree in finance, economics, engineering, mathematics, data science
- 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in capital markets, finance, treasury, or related areas
- Good understanding of capital markets, especially fixed income markets
- Strong command of Excel
- Familiarity with Bloomberg, MS Office, and front office systems is an asset
- Excellent oral and written English skills
