Job Summary
Funding Analyst I-III at Brewer Science, located in Rolla, MO, will work with a team of business analysts and end users to prepare grant proposals, perform financial analysis, and serve as a financial liaison across groups. Responsibilities include preparing grant requests for government and non-government agencies, monthly/quarterly billing for grant programs, assisting with end-of-contract activities (equipment disposal), supporting budgeting and forecasting for R&D, developing and maintaining financial models, preparing ad-hoc analyses, assisting with annual surveys and audits, assisting with the R&D tax credit process, month-end closing (journal entries, accruals, analyses), and collaborating with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights. The role progresses from Analyst I to II to III with increasing responsibility in financial reporting, planning, strategic analysis, and leadership in FP&A for funding and R&D groups.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent and 6+ years' experience in related field or
- Associate’s degree in accounting, business administration, finance, or related field and 4+ years’ experience in related field or
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business administration, finance, or related field and 2+ years’ experience in related field or
- MBA or Master’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field and 1+ years of experience in ERP or
- An equivalent combination of education and experience.
