Fund Servicing Analyst - Global Fund Services Operations Bank Loans

Job Summary
Capture trade instructions, manage bank loan lifecycle events including paydowns, drawdowns, interest rate resets, and trade settlements, and oversee position and cash reconciliations. Build relationships with fund accounting, client services, fund managers, and agent banks to resolve queries and deliver first-level account service. Create and update client-specific procedures, review daily controls, and ensure compliance with company policies and the procedures manual. Assist in testing system enhancements and maintain rigorous documentation against agreed deadlines. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting with two years of bank debt operations experience.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting
- Minimum 2 years' relevant work experience in bank debt / leveraged loan operations
- Excellent communication and relationship/partnership-building skills
- Strong attention to detail with a control mindset
- Time management, planning skills and the ability to handle multiple competing priorities
- Flexibility and willingness to accept new assignments and challenges in a rapidly changing environment
- Strong decision-making skills, ability to identify problems and propose solutions
- Initiative to raise issues to appropriate/relevant parties when needed
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of LSTA/LMA standard documents, such as Trade Confirmations
- Knowledge of financial data providers such as Mainframe applications, Bloomberg, Virtus, Clear Par, and IHS Markit
- Investment vehicles related to bank debt (CLOs, private equity funds, etc.)
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, specifically how bank debt transactions impact financial statements
