Job Summary
Fund Services Assistant Vice President responsible for maintaining books and records, calculating NAV, coordinating and reviewing financial statements and reports (monthly/quarterly), and ensuring investor allocations, capital calls, distributions, and partner capital statements are accurate. Lead and supervise junior staff, act as day-to-day client contact, collaborate with Investor Relations to respond to investor queries, and manage relationships with investors, banks, auditors, and advisors. Participate in audits, presentations to clients, and projects related to the ongoing expansion of the business. Strong knowledge of IFRS and USGAAP, general ledger processes, and proficiency with Microsoft Applications; experience with Investran and LP accounting is highly desirable. The role requires a collaborative, deadline-driven professional with excellent English communication and a client-focused mindset.
Required Qualifications
- Master degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent professional qualification (CA, CPA, ACCA)
- Minimum 5-7 years’ accounting experience in financial services (Private Equity, Asset Management or Fund Administration)
- Knowledge of IFRS and/or USGAAP
- Experience in reviewing and preparing general ledgers and financial statements
- Proficiency in English (communication skills)
- Supervisory experience with 3-4 years of staff management
- Experience with enterprise accounting systems; familiarity with Investran is highly desirable
- Private equity/real estate fund experience; exposure to complex fund structures and waterfall computations
