Job Summary
Supervise paralegals in Hyderabad, Bangalore, and Mumbai while keeping current with legal developments and the 1940 Act. Serve as a first reviewer of materials produced by your team and lead training programs to ensure high-quality service delivery. Monitor workload and adjust workflows based on shifting client demands, while reviewing processes to address regulatory changes and improve efficiency. Act as a trusted resource for legal, administrative, and operational issues, assisting in career path development and skill identification. Work hours partially overlap with regular U.S. work hours.
Required Qualifications
- at least six years of experience as a paralegal
- significant experience in the financial services industry
- three or more years of management experience
- ability to work with minimal direction from senior attorneys
- ability to train and mentor junior staff
- thorough working knowledge of day-to-day legal administration services for mutual fund clients
- knowledge of the 1940 Act
- high level of integrity and professionalism
- strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- strong time management skills
- ability to manage multiple tasks and competing priorities effectively
- ability to identify resources available and utilize them effectively
- ability to work with minimal direction from senior staff
- good working knowledge of relevant statutes and rules
- mastery of day-to-day legal administration services
- superb organizational skills
- ability to effectively assist paralegals in balancing priorities and workflow
- ability to effectively resolve issues impacting the timely delivery of high-quality client service
