Fund Governance Analyst

Fund Governance Analyst role within the US Funds team, partnering with Legal, Compliance, Product, Risk, Operations, and Tax to support governance standards, regulatory alignment, and fiduciary responsibilities for Wellington Management’s growing 1940 Act fund platform. Responsibilities include policy and procedure maintenance, coordinating reviews and updates, managing approval authorities and escalation thresholds, supporting regulatory filings with authorities such as the SEC, and providing board and secretarial support. The role emphasizes cross-functional collaboration, documentation quality, and robust record-keeping to ensure governance processes are well-governed and auditable. The position requires strong analytical skills, effective communication, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Key competencies include relationship building, problem-solving, decision-making, and proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; coding skills are an asset but not mandatory.
