Fund Finance, Hedge Funds - Associate/Assistant Vice President

Job Summary
Conduct fund finance private capital accounting and administration, including reviewing feeder fund documents (LPA/PPM) and operational questionnaires prior to launch. Determine commitment sizes, analyze expenses, and oversee quarterly NAV and capital account statement issuance. Review and sign off on capital call and distribution cash analysis, investor allocation files, and notices from third-party admins. Approve quarterly management fee payment wires and monitor compliance with partnership operating agreements. Prepare annual fund financial statements in accordance with US GAAP and facilitate process automation with technology teams. Participate in management meetings and attend prospective client due diligence. Work in the office four days a week with one remote day, reporting to a Vice President.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
- 3 to 6 years of financial services or asset management accounting and operations experience
- Proven ability to multi-task and work both independently and as a team player in a fast-paced, demanding environment
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Organized and detail oriented with big picture capability
- Willingness to learn new topics and work in an evolving business environment
- Employees in this role will work in the office 4 days a week with the flexibility to work remotely 1 day ( Friday)
Desired Qualifications
- Alternative investments fund administration and operations is a plus
- Advanced degree and/or credentials, or progress towards MBA, CPA, CFA, or CAIA designation is a plus
- Passion for the application of innovative technology
