Job Summary

Collaborate with the Director, Donor & Partner Engagement to build and diversify sustainable revenue sources by researching and identifying prospective foundation, corporate, and government funding opportunities. Develop and execute the fund development plan through writing grant applications, letters of inquiry, and proposals, while spearheading individual giving efforts including campaign materials and annual appeals. Secure conference revenue via sponsorships and exhibitors, coordinate in-kind and match funding, and prepare impact updates for funders. Manage donor stewardship activities, maintain accurate records in the CRM system, and align organizational objectives with available funding opportunities. Requires a Bachelor's degree in marketing or communications, three years of fundraising experience, and proficiency in donor databases and Microsoft Office. Living in Wisconsin is required; Spanish/English bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.

Required Qualifications

  • Living in the state of Wisconsin
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or related discipline
  • A minimum of three years of fundraising experience
  • Demonstrated experience writing successful grant proposals, reports, and appeals
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience with donor databases and Microsoft Office software
  • Excellent analytical abilities that can be applied in aligning the organization's objectives with available funding opportunities

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience working in the early childcare industry
  • Spanish/English bilingual
