Job Summary
Fund Administration Analyst to support fund expense management oversight, financial reporting, reconciliations, and operational processes for ’40 Act funds, including NAV calculations, expense allocations, and distributions; opportunity to contribute to process improvements and automation initiatives. This role offers exposure to senior management and collaboration across departments while developing a strong foundation in investment fund accounting.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- 2-4 years of direct ’40 Act funds / fund accounting experience
- Experience with NAV calculations, fund expense allocations, and/or financial reporting
- Availability to work from the Chicago headquarters office on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday each week
Desired Qualifications
- CPA or CPA candidate preferred
- 2-4 years of direct ’40 Act funds / fund accounting experience
- experience with NAV calculations, fund expense allocations, and/or financial reporting
- intermediate Microsoft Excel skills (formulas, pivots, data reconciliation)
- experience with fund expense calculations and mutual fund distributions (dividends/capital gains)
- ability to work independently and within a team
- strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- effective written and verbal communication skills
- availability to work from the Chicago headquarters office on Tue, Wed, and Thu
- experience with productivity tools such as Microsoft Copilot or AI-assisted research tools preferred
