Fund Accounting Senior Associate (Crypto)

Job Summary
Fund Accounting Senior Associate at a remote-first firm supporting 27,000+ funds on AngelList platform. Responsible for accounting, valuation, and reporting workflows not yet automated; review post-close actions, calculate management and administrative fees, prepare audited and unaudited financial statements, ensure GAAP-compliant treatment of portfolio investments, maintain investment tracking systems, and collaborate with engineering on automation. Interface with GPs and LPs, evaluate portfolio events for valuation actions, reconcile crypto positions, and contribute to ad-hoc projects. Strong emphasis on accuracy, organization, and consistent delivery in a high-volume fund administration environment. Remote role available for US or Canada applicants.
Required Qualifications
- CPA license strongly preferred
- 3-4+ years in financial sector
- experience in Fund Administration and Public Accounting preferred
- experience in fund accounting for crypto-focused funds
- experience reconciling digital asset positions across exchanges/custodians/on-chain wallets/DeFi a plus
- excellent communication with portfolio companies and investors
- attention to detail and process orientation
