Job Summary
The Accounting Manager will support the accounting and operations for one of the company’s business development companies within its Global Private Debt Strategy. Responsibilities include cash reconciliation items, reviewing daily transaction postings, recording monthly closing accruals, calculating management and incentive fees, reconciling capital activities and statements maintained by the transfer agent, preparing monthly fund reporting and performance metrics, coordinating with independent auditors, custodians, and transfer agents, assisting in monthly/quarterly reporting for leverage facilities, reviewing quarterly and annual SEC filings (10-Q/10-K), participating in projects and process improvements for key deliverables, and performing other tasks as required. Strong analytical skills, ability to resolve complex problems, and proficiency with Excel, Word and PowerPoint are required; experience with Geneva and/or Geneva World Investor and Markit WSO is a plus.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- 5-7 years of relevant fund accounting experience
- Strong knowledge of reconciliation and account analysis
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Experience with Geneva and/or Geneva World Investor, accounting systems and Markit WSO (notice portal) is a plus
