Job Summary
Fund Accounting Associate/Analyst in Fund Services Operations will manage workflow, scheduling of assignments, and quality control through the review/approval process of accounting and securities records for each fund; deliver portfolio valuation and timely NAV production; identify and lead system/process improvements; liaise with internal stakeholders to set SLAs, resolve issues, and provide training/support to ensure quality service; requires a Bachelor's degree and at least 5 years of fund accounting experience, strong accounting principles, understanding of securities accounting, ability to measure workflow efficiency, risk awareness, and effective communication in a matrix organization. Mandarin language skills are a plus. Based in Kwun Tong, Kowloon, Hong Kong (on-site).
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related disciplines
- At least 5 years of fund accounting experience
- Strong technical skill including accounting principles and theories
- Thorough understanding of securities types and their accounting treatments
- Proven ability to establish and prepare key metrics to measure workflow capacity, system efficiency and effectiveness of control
- Self-starter with analytical and problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Control focus and risk awareness
- Business process and procedure orientation
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to operate effectively in a matrix organization under pressure and tight timeframes
