Job Summary
Fund Accountant for Private Market Funds responsible for fund accounting, processing transactions, reconciliations, NAV calculations and reporting. Responsibilities include preparing NAV packages, reviewing cash and reconciliation positions, accruals of income/expenses, partner and shareholder allocations, analyzing fund returns, preparing capital calls, distributions, subscriptions and redemptions, statutory financial statements (IFRS), supporting audit, client payments, and ensuring timely filing of documents; collaboration across offices worldwide and sharing accounting knowledge.
Required Qualifications
- Studies with a focus on Banking & Finance or Accounting
- Financial Services experience in the fund business as an accountant or financial controller
- Experienced with financial statements, IFRS, investment products and NAV calculations
- Analytical mindset
- Responsible and entrepreneurial thinking
- Analytical, well-structured approach
- Goal and solution-oriented
- Ability to work under pressure and flexibility
- Knowledge of MS Office programs
- Flair for IT systems
- German as well as English
