Job Summary
Review and prepare daily position and cash reconciliations, resolve discrepancies, and process journal entries to maintain the general ledger. Prepare capital calls and distribution allocation schedules, along with financial work papers including portfolio schedules and partner capital statements. Monitor USD and non-USD cash movements, review junior and offshore team work, and manage client and auditor correspondence. Participate in special client or internal projects as needed. This Associate 2 role supports a complex Private Equity/Credit Fund within State Street's Alternative Investment Services group.
Required Qualifications
- 0-3 years of fund accounting or related experience
- Advanced MS Excel skills
- Attention to detail
- Time management
- Excellent administrative and organizational skills with demonstrated ability to multi-task and to work efficiently to meet client deliverables
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with Investran
- Experience with investment/Portfolio accounting platforms
- Specific experience in the Private Equity industry
