Job Summary
As a Functional Specialist PIP, you will conduct assessments to evaluate how claimants' health conditions affect their daily life. You will create comprehensive reports to assist the DWP in making critical health decisions. This role is ideal for healthcare professionals seeking a new opportunity away from direct care, with training and development provided.
Required Qualifications
- One year's post-registration experience as a nurse (RMN, RNLD, RGN), occupational therapist, physiotherapist or paramedic
- Fully registered with a relevant UK regulatory body (NMC, HCPC or other) without restriction or conditions and with a valid PIN
Additional Requirements
- Successful candidates will be required to successfully complete government baseline personnel security standard vetting
- Enhanced criminality check required which will show both spent and unspent convictions
- Defined as regulated activity relating to children or vulnerable adults
