Job Summary
Deliver English and Maths Functional Skills to Royal Navy apprentices, in classroom or field settings (including ships), with a focus on improving learner outcomes and progression. Provide tailored support to learners with varying abilities, including those with additional learning needs (e.g. SpLD), monitor and produce appropriate training documentation, and develop coaching and mentoring skills to support learners while carrying out general administration tasks. Must be eligible for UK security clearance at SC level. Salary up to £30,000. Based at HMS Collingwood/Portsmouth Dockyards in Fareham/Gosport/Portsmouth area; role supports Capita Selborne's mission to modernise Royal Navy training with innovative education delivery.
Required Qualifications
- Level 2 Key/Functional Skills in English and Maths or equivalent or above
