Job Summary
Deliver engaging Functional Skills Maths L1/L2 sessions to individuals and small groups of up to 12 learners with complex needs, including autism, ADHD, and severe learning difficulties. Support students to develop CVs, interview skills, and work-related activities while planning schemes of work and Individual Student Plans. Mark assessments, set targets, and monitor progress by providing feedback to learners and parents. Ensure compliance with safeguarding, health and safety, and data protection policies during educational visits and daily instruction.
Required Qualifications
- AET/CERT ED/PGCE or other relevant teaching Qualifications
- Maths Grade C/4 or above or Functional skills level 2
- Assessor qualification
- Experience of teaching learners with various abilities or learning needs
- Experienced working with learners who present learning differences
- Confident with your delivery
- Enhanced DBS check, including the barred list
