Job Summary
WellTheory seeks a highly skilled Functional Registered Dietitian to join our remote Care Team. In this full-time role, you’ll partner with clients to deliver our proprietary functional nutrition-based care program, leveraging functional lab testing to assess nutrient deficiencies, hormonal imbalances, and gut health, and to tailor personalized interventions. You will guide members in adopting anti-inflammatory diets, addressing lifestyle factors, and building sustainable plans, with collaboration across the care model and cross-functional teams. The role includes opportunities for professional growth, multiple-state licensure support, and a comprehensive benefits package. Remote work with standard business hours (9a-5p PST), Monday–Friday, and occasional in-person events. The position emphasizes autonomous work in a startup environment, a passion for autoimmune-focused care, and proficiency in labs, hormones, and gut health within functional nutrition.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition or Dietetics
- Registered Dietitian licensure through the Commission on Dietetic Registration or equivalent licensure in your state
- Minimum 2 years of professional experience in dietetics
- Experience in disease management, MNT, and health lifestyle behavior change
- Preferred: functional nutrition clinics or telehealth experience
- Familiarity with functional lab testing and analysis; Autoimmune Protocol (AIP) or anti-inflammatory diets
- Experience addressing hormonal imbalances and gut health; Motivational Interviewing and behavior change; proficiency in functional lab testing and analysis
- Ability to build protocols based on functional testing and nutrient needs
- Willingness to obtain licensure in multiple states (company covers cost)
