Functional QA Manual Engineer

Job Summary
The Functional QA Engineer will analyze business requirements, user stories, and technical specifications to define testing scope; create and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scenarios; perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing; identify and track defects through resolution; participate in defect triage with development teams; validate new features, enhancements, and bug fixes; support UAT activities; contribute to QA process improvements; collaborate with Product Owners, Developers, DevOps, and stakeholders to ensure product quality; participate in Agile ceremonies and provide timely status updates on testing progress, risks, and quality metrics.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent practical experience
- 3+ years of experience in software quality assurance or software testing
- Experience creating and executing test cases and test plans
- Experience with defect tracking and test management tools
- Strong understanding of functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing
- Experience testing web-based applications
- Ability to analyze requirements and translate them into effective test coverage
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience working within Agile/Scrum teams
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
