Job Summary

Accept assignment of cases to provide intensive home-based Functional Family Therapy (FFT) services to families with adolescents aged 10 to 18. Deliver weekly one-hour family therapy sessions, conduct evaluations and assessments, and participate in developing client Treatment Service Plans. Provide crisis support, education, and consultation regarding mental illness while coordinating necessary community resources and follow-up. Carry a required caseload for three to six months, monitoring symptoms and assisting families in building social support networks. Work a flexible schedule with evening and weekend on-call coverage on a rotating basis. Maintain current licensure and certifications, complete assigned documentation, and attend staff meetings and supervision.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum Master's Degree in Social Work or related field
  • Valid Ohio LSW/LISW, LMFT/IMFT or LPC/LPCC
  • Experience in working with children, adolescents and their families
  • Demonstrated clinical experience in chemical dependency treatment
  • Must have and maintain a valid driver's license and driving record that meets the underwriting criteria of the Agency's insurance company
  • Must be approved by Bellefaire to transport clients in own vehicle
  • Possess skill, knowledge and abilities to perform the essential duties of their role
  • Demonstrate ability to perform job responsibilities with a high degree of initiative and independent judgment
  • Demonstrate awareness, sensitivity and skills in working professionally with diverse individuals, groups and communities who represent various cultural and personal background and characteristics
  • Communicate clearly using verbal, nonverbal, and written skills in a professional context
  • Demonstrates clear understanding and use of professional language

  • Demonstrate competence in utilizing Agency computer systems and software as required to perform essential job functions
