Job Summary
Lead and grow an advanced Functional and Epilepsy Neurosurgery program within a renowned neuroscience institute. The role includes performing complex cranial procedures (SEEG, RNS, DBS, VNS, LITT, open epilepsy surgery, stereotactic methods, neuromodulation), contributing to multidisciplinary epilepsy care, teaching and academic activities, and participating in program leadership and development. The position offers a substantial compensation package and opportunities for academic appointments, fellowship teaching, and research participation, with collaborative, high-acuity perioperative and inpatient teams in a leading Pacific Northwest neuroscience program.
Required Qualifications
- fellowship-trained Functional and Epilepsy Cranial Neurosurgery physician
- board certification/eligibility in neurosurgery
- experience leading or co-leading a subspecialty epilepsy/neurosurgery program
- ability to perform SEEG, RNS, DBS, VNS, LITT, awake craniotomy, stereotactic procedures and neuromodulation
