Functional Designer - Electrical

Job Summary
Design detailed electrical systems and components, create layouts, engineered designs, technical drawings, and diagrams using drafting techniques per specifications. Collaborate across departments to ensure designs meet regulatory standards and Bollinger guidelines. Ensure CAD standards, review drawings, coordinate with vendors and internal teams, and incorporate feedback from owners, regulatory agencies, and other governing bodies while following PRNs, ECPs, EARs, and budget requests. Strong knowledge of design principles, drafting techniques, and familiarity with Navis and Ship Constructor are desired.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of two years of college coursework equivalent to an Associate’s degree in Industrial Technology or a related field
- Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered
- At least 6 years of design experience
