Job Summary
Manage retail assortment planning and merchandise planning for clients, configuring product and location hierarchies, store clustering, assortment rules, and business rules within the o9 platform. Define planning workflows, handle space and capacity constraints, and support category management, range planning, and product lifecycle management. Analyze retail KPIs including sales, margin, sell-through, and GMROI while integrating data from ERP, POS, and merchandising systems using SQL. Requires 3–5 years of hands-on o9 Retail Assortment Planning experience with immediate joiners only.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years IT Experience
- min 6 months O9 Experience
- 3–6 years total experience
- 1-2 years hands-on o9 platform experience
- Currently remote
- flexible to travel Bangalore required as needed
- Bachelor's or Master's in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, Computer Science, or related field
- 3–5 Years of experience in Retail Planning/Merchandise Planning
- 6months - 2years years of hands-on experience with o9 Retail Planning
- Strong expertise in Retail Assortment Planning and Merchandise Planning
- Experience configuring: Assortment Planning
- Experience configuring: Product & Location Hierarchies
- Experience configuring: Store Clustering
- Experience configuring: Assortment Rules & Business Rules
- Experience configuring: Planning Workflows
- Experience configuring: Space & Capacity Constraints
- Good understanding: Category Management
- Good understanding: Range Planning
- Good understanding: Product Lifecycle Management (PLM)
- Good understanding: Seasonal & Localized Assortments
- Good understanding: Retail KPIs (Sales, Margin, Sell-through, GMROI)
- Experience with ERP/POS/Retail Merchandising integrations (SAP, Oracle RMS, Blue Yonder, etc.)
- Working knowledge of SQL and data analysis
- Strong analytical, communication, and client-facing skills
