Functional Business Analyst

Job Summary
Partner with end users and business stakeholders to gather requirements, translate them into user stories and functional specifications, and facilitate discussions between teams. Identify process improvement opportunities within Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012, CRM, and other business applications while serving as a point of escalation for support tickets. Provide user training, maintain documentation for business processes and system configurations, and coordinate with vendors and IT teams across concurrent projects. Support document management practices using Revver and participate in system upgrades and migrations. This onsite role in Middlebury, IN requires a Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of experience as a Functional Analyst, with strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience as a Functional Analyst or Business Analyst
- Driver's License
- Ability to lift 30 pounds
- Ability to sit/work at a computer for extended periods
- Strong requirements-gathering, business analysis, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Strong customer service orientation with experience supporting internal end users across all areas of an organization
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team to meet deliverables
- Detail-oriented with strong documentation habits
- Experience writing user stories, functional/business requirements, and supporting documentation
- Hands-on experience supporting an ERP system
- Experience supporting a CRM platform
- Experience working with SaaS/cloud-based business applications
- Experience with document management platforms
- Previous experience with a publicly held company operating under Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX), including familiarity with annual audits and IT General Controls (ITGCs)
- Experience with reporting tools such as SSRS and/or Power BI
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field (equivalent experience considered)
- 5+ years experience as a Functional Analyst or Business Analyst
- Experience in a manufacturing environment
- Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 experience
- Experience with other major ERPs (NetSuite, Epicor, SAP, Syteline)
- Microsoft Dynamics CE (CRM) experience
- Revver experience
- Experience supporting an ERP system; Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 experience is a plus, but experience with other major ERPs (NetSuite, Epicor, SAP, Syteline) will be considered
- Experience supporting a CRM platform; Microsoft Dynamics CE (CRM) experience is a plus
