Job Summary
Functional Application Manager responsible for linking business and IT to ensure core applications effectively support operational processes across multiple shiprepair locations. Manages functional improvements, coordinates testing and implementations, supports users with training and documentation, and collaborates with process owners, IT colleagues, and software suppliers to ensure lifecycle management of applications.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business IT, or related field
- Around 3+ years of experience in functional application management or application support
- Experience with ERP or operational systems (e.g. IFS, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics)
- Understanding of business processes and system integrations
- Strong communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- English language proficiency, Dutch preferred
- Experience in maritime/industrial/technical environment a strong plus
