Job Summary
Functional Analyst to support the US Navy client DATM at the Pentagon (on-site in VA) with 8+ years in acquisition workforce, active Interim Secret DoD clearance, BA/BS, and advanced MS Office skills. Responsibilities include coordinating nomination and award processes, preparing reports and briefs, proofreading and editing technical documents, coordinating events and speakers, maintaining compliance with nominating program policies, and supporting the office with the acquisition workforce. Telework allowed situationally; expect in-office presence at least 4 days per week. Must excel in analysis, proactive contribution, and coordinating with multiple customers within an Echelon 1 organization.
Required Qualifications
- BA/BS degree from an accredited university
- Active Interim Secret DoD clearance at minimum; final Secret preferred
- Minimum 8 years’ experience with the acquisition workforce
- Strong analytical and administrative skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite; ability to produce documents or other published works
- Experience with MS Publisher a plus for newsletters and Acquisition Excellence Award (AEA) post ceremony artifacts
- Excellent communication and customer service skills; ability to work with others at all levels as a team member
- Detail-oriented with high attention to accuracy; proofreading and editing of highly technical documents
