Functional Analyst

Job Summary
Conduct end-to-end functional analysis by collecting business requirements, translating them into user stories, logical data models, and acceptance criteria, and assessing feasibility with developers and business analysts. Lead the creation and execution of test scenarios and test cases while delivering functional documentation for teams and stakeholders. Maintain smooth application operations by resolving incidents and identifying improvements, ensuring all solutions account for business and technical impacts across the environment. Collaborate closely with business analysts and developers within an Agile team to deliver visible results in a challenging context.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Functional Analyst
- Experience with functional analysis deliverables (e.g. context diagrams, UML, flow diagrams, sequence diagrams, user stories/use cases, logical data models, fit-gap analyses)
- Strong English and good French proficiency
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive, hands-on mindset
- Experience with in-house development and/or package implementation
- Excellent communication skills with teams and internal/external stakeholders
- Team player with a sense of ownership and an Agile mindset
- Ability to analyze business requirements and understand business needs
- Understanding of inbound/outbound processes and related flows
- Ability to assess the feasibility, completeness, and consistency of requirements
- Experience documenting and validating business rules and calculations
- Ability to translate requirements into clear functional documentation for developers
- Willingness to support administrative and team tasks to ensure service continuity
Desired Qualifications
- Nice to have: knowledge of programming, APIs, or Document Management Systems (DMS)
