Functional Analyst Digital Assets

Job Summary
Translate business needs into functional specifications, user stories, and solution requirements for Digital Asset transformation initiatives. Design functional solutions for tokenization platforms, blockchain workflows, and custody processes while assessing feasibility and alignment with business objectives. Collaborate with stakeholders, architects, and developers in Agile environments to support system enhancements, testing, and production releases. Ensure solutions comply with security, regulatory, and operational standards across banking, payments, and capital markets. This hybrid role requires office presence two days per week. Capco partners with leading financial institutions to modernize technology landscapes and deliver scalable, secure solutions in emerging digital asset ecosystems.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience as a Functional Analyst
- Experience within banking, payments, capital markets, and insurance
- Proven experience working in Agile environments
- Experience in transformation or change initiatives with business and technology stakeholders
- Proven experience working on Digital Asset, Blockchain, Tokenization, or DLT initiatives is essential
- Strong functional analysis and requirements gathering skills
- Experience translating business requirements into functional specifications
- Familiarity with UML diagrams, APIs, system integrations, and end-to-end solution design
- Ability to work with complex business processes and translate them into clear, structured functional documentation
- Understanding of digital asset ecosystems, tokenized asset workflows, and related financial services processes
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field
- Professional proficiency in English
- This is a hybrid role, and we expect the consultant to be present in the office at least two days per week
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of or experience with one or more of the following: Blockchain, Tokenization, Digital Assets, Smart Contracts, Stablecoins, Digital Wallets, Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT), Cryptocurrency, Programmable Money, Custody, issuance, or settlement processes linked to digital assets
- Dutch is considered a strong plus
