Functional Academics Aide

Provide instructional assistance to students under the direct supervision of a certified teacher by preparing, conducting, and managing classroom activities. Assist in instructing reading, writing, and mathematics while working with individual students or small groups. Support the teacher in preparing instructional materials, administering objective testing instruments, and maintaining administrative records. Supervise students throughout the school day, including lunchroom, bus, and playground duty, and report special needs or problems. Maintain a neat classroom, manage equipment inventory, and follow district safety protocols. Participate in staff development training and faculty meetings as assigned.
