Job Summary
Conduct container, tarp, and vessel fumigations while adhering to SGS guidelines, safety procedures, and government regulations. Generate documentation for pre-shipment and quarantine fumigations, deliver samples to the laboratory, and maintain full, accurate logs. Establish constant communication with operations and coordinate special projects such as training or field risk assessments as assigned. Possess a valid driver's license and required licenses including Pesticide Applicator, Confined Space, and First Aid. Requires a high school diploma, one to three years of fumigation experience, and authorization to work in Canada.
Required Qualifications
- A minimum of a High School diploma or equivalent
- Possess and maintains a valid driver's license
- Must obtain a valid training and licenses in the following: Pesticide Applicator Licence, Confined Space Training Level 1, First Aid Level 1, WHMIS, and Transportation of Dangerous Goods
- Candidates applying for Canadian job openings should be authorized to work in Canada
