Job Summary
Crisis Counselor providing telephonic emotional support, risk assessment, crisis intervention, and stabilization services. Requires an advanced behavioral health degree (MSW, PsyD, or PhD; or MA/MS with clinical emphasis from COAMFTE/CACREP/CORE). Active licensure in good standing is required. Role is remote from Ohio with HIPAA-compliant private workspace and secure internet. Responsibilities include empathetic support, building rapport, assessing risk, providing resources and safety planning, emergent intervention, and thorough documentation while multitasking across software systems. Six-week paid virtual training, weekend/holiday availability post-training, and comprehensive benefits are provided.
Required Qualifications
- MSW, PsyD, or PhD in a behavioral health field, OR MA/MS in a behavioral health field with COAMFTE/CACREP/CORE-accredited program
- Licensure must be active and in good standing
- Remote, Ohio residency required
