Job Summary
Crisis Counselor role delivering telephonic emotional support, risk assessment, crisis intervention, and stabilization services to callers. Responsibilities include building rapport, actively listening, assessing emotional/behavioral health concerns and risk, providing resources and safety planning, intervening in emergent situations, and maintaining accurate clinical documentation. Requires active licensure and an advanced degree in behavioral health (MSW, PsyD, PhD or MA/MS with COAMFTE/CACREP/CORE accreditation) and a private, distraction-free home office compliant with HIPAA. Remote work from a GA-residency location with required broadband; six-week paid training; after training, regular weekend/holiday availability; comprehensive benefits and opportunities for professional growth.
Required Qualifications
- MSW, PsyD, or PhD in a behavioral health field, OR MA/MS in a behavioral health field with a COAMFTE, CACREP, or CORE-accredited program
