Job Summary
Fully remote Crisis Counselor role for a LAPC in GA. Provide telephonic emotional support, risk assessment, crisis intervention, stabilization, and safety planning to callers experiencing distress. Build rapport, actively listen, and document clinically sound notes. Maintain HIPAA-compliant remote work environment with a private office and reliable broadband. Requires active GA licensure and a graduate degree in a behavioral health field; six-week paid virtual training; post-training schedule includes weekend/holiday availability. Compensation includes base hourly pay with potential shift differentials and benefits (medical/dental/life, 401(k), EAP, PTO).
Required Qualifications
- Active state licensure as Counselor in Georgia (GA) with good standing
- Graduate degree in behavioral health field (MSW, PsyD, PhD, or MA/MS with clinical emphasis) from COAMFTE/CACREP/CORE-accredited program
- Remote work eligibility with residency in Georgia
- Experience or ability in crisis counseling, risk assessment, and crisis intervention
- Ability to maintain HIPAA-compliant, distraction-free home office
- Experience with documentation and use of clinical software systems
- Ability to work flexible scheduling including weekends and holidays as required
