Job Summary
As a fully remote Crisis Counselor, provide telephonic emotional support, risk assessment, crisis intervention, and stabilization services to callers. Responsibilities include building rapport, actively listening, assessing emotional/behavioral health concerns and safety risks, offering resources and safety planning, intervening in emergent situations, maintaining accurate documentation, and navigating multiple software systems. Maintain HIPAA-compliant, distraction-free home office with secure internet. Six-week virtual training followed by remote scheduling; competitive benefits, PTO, and opportunities for professional growth. Requires professional licensure in good standing and GA residency with remote work setup.
Required Qualifications
- MSW, PsyD, or PhD in a behavioral health field
- MA/MS in a behavioral health field with a clinical practice emphasis from a COAMFTE CACREP CORE-accredited program
- Licensure must be active and in good standing
