Job Summary
Fully remote Crisis Counselor position for an LAPC in Georgia. Provides telephonic crisis counseling, risk assessment, crisis intervention, and stabilization services to individuals experiencing distress. Responsibilities include building rapport, active listening, assessing emotional/behavioral health concerns and safety issues, delivering resources and referrals, documenting accurately, and maintaining HIPAA-compliant, distraction-free home office setup with secured internet. Requires active licensure in good standing; education options include MSW/PsyD/PhD or MA/MS in behavioral health with COAMFTE/CACREP/CORE accreditation. Six-week paid virtual training, weekend/holiday availability after training, comprehensive benefits, and opportunities for professional growth. Required Qualifications
- Active licensure in good standing as required for LAPC in Georgia
- Education: MSW, PsyD, or PhD in behavioral health; OR MA/MS in behavioral health with COAMFTE, CACREP, or CORE-accredited program
- Remote work eligibility with GA residency requirement
- Strong communication skills and ability to multitask
