Job Summary
Licensed Mental Health Therapist provides high-quality outpatient therapy to individuals, couples, and/or families from a hybrid-based role out of Topeka, KS. Responsibilities include conducting bio-psycho-social assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, facilitating individual and group sessions (including DBT skills in an Intensive Outpatient Program), delivering evidence-based psychotherapy, gathering feedback to guide programming, maintaining timely documentation, and managing a caseload of approximately 26 clients per week (minimum 15). Requires adherence to licensing and ethical standards, collaboration with a clinical team, and utilization of telehealth/EHR tools. Opportunities include a 60k-70k annual range based on productivity, 401(k) with employer match, comprehensive benefits, and flexible scheduling (4-day work week; Mon-Thu 9am-7pm). The role supports LMSW/LSCSW/LCPC licenses in Kansas and/or Missouri, with a focus on adolescents and families.
Required Qualifications
- Active, unrestricted license: LSCSW or LCPC in Kansas and/or Missouri
- Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, Marriage & Family Therapy, or related field
- Strong background in evidence-based practices (e.g., CBT, DBT, EMDR, ACT)
- Possess or be willing to learn DBT therapy
- Ability to provide therapy independently
- Comfort using an EHR and telehealth platforms
- Experience conducting psychotherapy with adolescents, trauma, couples, etc.
- Experience in outpatient or group practice settings
- LMSW, LSCSW, PLPC, LPC, or equivalent ( Licenses listed in description)
