Job Summary
Full-Stack Engineer to join the Commerce squad in Ashley Digital (Tel Aviv) and build high-impact capabilities across core commerce and internal platforms, including Admin experiences for pricing, promotions, product data, and order lifecycle flows. Responsibilities include designing and implementing scalable microservices with strong API contracts, owning features end-to-end, contributing to event-driven commerce architecture, working within a Scala-based monolith, and collaborating with Product, Design, DevOps, and cross-functional stakeholders. Technologies and areas include Node.js/TypeScript, React, MongoDB/PostgreSQL, AWS, RESTful APIs, event-driven systems (Kinesis/SQS/SNS/EventBridge/Kafka), design systems (Material UI), CI/CD, observability, and AI-assisted development tools. The role emphasizes ownership, performance, scalability, and delivering meaningful business outcomes across global teams.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years building server-side applications in JavaScript/TypeScript using Node.js frameworks such as NestJS or Express
- 3+ years building user-facing features with React, including component-driven development and front-end architecture
- Experience with relational and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or similar), including schema design and performance considerations
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, service boundaries, and integration patterns in a microservices environment
- Feature ownership experience: independently driving projects from early design through delivery, rollout, and post-launch improvements
- Experience with state management (Zustand preferred) and building maintainable, testable UI flows
- Fluency in English and experience working with global teams/stakeholders
Desired Qualifications

- Events infrastructure background: hands-on experience with event-driven systems and messaging (e.g., Kinesis, SQS, SNS, EventBridge, Kafka)
- Experience with design systems and reusable UI patterns (Material UI experience preferred) including atomic design principles
- Familiarity with modern development practices (unit and integration testing, CI/CD pipelines, code quality, observability)
- Experience leveraging AI-assisted development tools and workflows effectively, with the ability to critically evaluate outputs
- Fluency in English and experience working with global teams/stakeholders
