Job Summary
Design and maintain robust back-end features using Symfony/PHP and develop responsive front-end interfaces with Angular and jQuery. Manage relational databases by optimizing queries against Postgres and Amazon RDS, while working within cloud infrastructure involving AWS EC2, Load Balancers, and ElastiCache. Participate in the full development lifecycle from planning in Jira/Confluence to CI/CD via Jenkins, and collaborate on infrastructure-as-code principles using Terraform. Monitor application health with tools like Grafana, Datadog, and Raygun. Required Qualifications
- 3-5 years of professional experience in software development
- Proven expertise in PHP development, preferably with the Symfony framework
- Solid understanding of modern front-end frameworks, specifically Angular and jQuery
- Experience with relational databases, including Postgres
- Familiarity with CI/CD processes and tools like Jenkins and version control using Bitbucket
- Must be able to work in an In-Office Role in Medellín
Desired Qualifications
- Experience developing mobile applications using Angular with Ionic / Capacitor for iOS and Android deployment
- Knowledge of containerization and advanced AWS services
- Familiarity with external services such as Cloudflare, SendGrid / Twilio, and BI tools like Metabase
