Job Summary
Design, build, and evolve Node.js and TypeScript microservices, background workers, and event-driven workflows using GCP Pub/Sub. Develop administrative and user-facing applications with Vue.js and Nuxt.js while implementing robust error handling and strengthening monitoring across services. Maintain ETL processes and data integrations with MongoDB and BigQuery, then collaborate with DevOps to improve CI/CD practices and platform scalability. Conduct detailed code reviews, participate in technical planning, and share knowledge to continuously improve engineering practices within a distributed, cloud-native architecture.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience designing or working with distributed systems
- Strong expertise in Node.js and TypeScript
- Experience with typed programming languages
- Solid knowledge of microservices
- Knowledge of background workers
- Knowledge of asynchronous processing
- Knowledge of event-driven architectures
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform services such as Pub/Sub
- Experience with Cloud Functions
- Experience with Kubernetes
- Experience with IAM
- A good understanding of Docker
- A good understanding of CI/CD pipelines
- A good understanding of infrastructure-as-code
- A good understanding of modern DevOps practices
- Experience working with MongoDB
- Experience with data integrations
- Experience with ETL processes
- The ability to use AI coding tools, such as Cursor or Claude Code, to improve productivity while applying strong technical judgment to review, refine, and validate AI-generated code
