Full-Time X-ray Technologist

Job Summary
Perform high-quality diagnostic X-ray examinations according to established protocols, verifying patient identity, reviewing orders, and preparing patients for optimal image quality. Educate patients on exam procedures, maintain accurate documentation in RIS/PACS and EMR systems, and conduct daily quality control checks on imaging equipment. Adhere to radiation safety standards, infection control policies, and HIPAA regulations while collaborating with radiologists and referring providers. Participate in continuing education and cross-train into CT or MRI as opportunities arise. This full-time, Monday–Friday role at North Star Diagnostic Imaging in Denton, Texas includes 80 hours of accrued PTO and offers competitive pay with health insurance.
Required Qualifications
- Current Texas Medical Board (MRT) General certification
- ARRT (R) certification
- Excellent patient care and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Strong knowledge of diagnostic radiographic procedures and anatomy
- Excellent attention to detail and critical thinking skills
- Outstanding customer service and interpersonal skills
- Dependable, professional, and team-oriented
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a busy outpatient environment
Desired Qualifications
- Current CPR certification (preferred)
