Job Summary
Site Supervisor to lead a 5-10 person work crew outdoors at the San Jose, CA office, providing on-the-job coaching, ensuring safety, coordinating and assigning duties, monitoring performance, and maintaining timely reporting. Requires strong leadership, communication, and teamwork; mechanical aptitude; ability to work in all weather; valid driver’s license; and experience coaching or mentoring groups. Overtime is a typical component of the role and responsibilities include ensuring participant safety and maintaining a positive work environment while delivering outdoor landscaping and litter-abatement projects.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license with good driving record
- Ability to consistently lift and move objects up to 75 pounds
- Ability to stand, kneel, bend, and climb; work outdoors; walk or stand for long periods
- Ability to drive a 12 passenger van with an attached trailer
- Ability to operate a smartphone
- Previous safety training preferable, though training will be provided to hired candidate
