Job Summary
As a Gordon Restaurant Market Warehouse Associate, you will accurately and efficiently select Gordon Food Service products for customer orders, follow designated pick lists, pick items from correct warehouse locations, label correctly, and place on pallets for shipping. You will operate a gas or electric forklift and a Powered Industrial Vehicle (PIV), use a radio frequency scanner to identify products, attach labels, palletize, and deliver products to the designated shipping lane. You will maintain inventory, inspect trailer interiors, load pallets onto trucks, secure loads, and uphold safety regulations in a fast-paced warehouse environment. The role requires英语 reading/writing ability, teamwork, and adherence to company policies; high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, and PIV certification is required upon hire. Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred)
- Powered Industrial Vehicle (PIV) certification must be obtained upon hire
- Must be able to read, write and communicate in English
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must be able to perceive auditory warning signals (bells, alarms, horns)
