Job Summary
Conduct courteous, on-time, and accurate deliveries of GFS products to wholesale customers, including daily pre/post trip inspections of the vehicle and equipment. Perform in-store operations such as processing customer purchases, receiving and merchandising products, executing planograms, and ensuring proper stock rotation. Maintain good customer relationships while operating the van safely and demonstrating attention to detail. Requires at least one year of delivery driving experience, a clean driving record, and the ability to lift up to 70 lbs. Schedule includes Monday through Saturday 7AM-8PM with holidays off.
Required Qualifications
- At least 1 year previous delivery driving experience
- One year in customer service or related field
- Unrestricted Standard Operators License
- Clean driving record (no drug or alcohol offenses in the last 5 years)
- Minimum of 18 years old
- Must be able to use a two-wheel cart with a load weighing up to 350 pounds
- Able to lift up to 70 lbs
- Must provide a letter of support from their management if they work for a Gordon Food Service customer
