Job Summary
Provide comprehensive eye care services, follow-up care of existing conditions, and management of emergency eye conditions. Examine the eye to diagnose and treat ocular conditions; refer to and consult with other health care providers as needed. Prescribe lenses, contact lenses, prisms, orthotics, and related vision devices; provide vision training and pharmaceutical management; educate patients, residents, students, and medical staff on ocular health and eye safety.
Required Qualifications
