Job Summary
Promote bank products and services through defined sales processes while responding to customer requests for account information and processing. Process account openings by verifying identification under CIP/CDD, execute transaction changes, and validate customer signatures and documentation to deter fraud. Operate the core system for ATM and debit transactions, perform clerical tasks like filing and scanning, and balance daily cash and checks to identify errors. Assist new trainees by demonstrating transaction processing and correcting their performance. Submit referrals through appropriate channels and adhere to regulatory compliance procedures including Regulation P and CC.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Above average verbal and written communications skills
- Basic math skills
- Proficient with the use of a Personal Computer
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office
Desired Qualifications
- Banking experience preferred
- relevant experience equivalent to a year
- Pursuit of certification in life insurance, lending, or business banking expected
